Bridgeway Therapy Center’s new Clinical ABA program provides clients ages 18 months to 5 years with early, intensive intervention in a therapy model, and is entirely independent from Bridgeway Academy’s school-based programs. Therapeutic intervention consists of one 3-hour session per day, 5 days a week (Monday-Friday). Sessions will take place with a ratio of 1 staff member for 1-2 clients.
The Clinical ABA program offers individualized instruction utilizing ABA methods and promotes peer interactions, group skills and adaptive behaviors that increase independence and prepare the child for the classroom environment.
*Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA is considered an evidence-based best practice treatment by the US Surgeon General and by the American Psychological Association. The principles of ABA focus on (1) how behaviors change, (2) how behaviors are affected by our environment, and (3) how learning takes place.
